Accenture: an impressive place to work!

07/11/2019

Our thoughts exactly when we started working in the wonderful wooden office under the roof of a gigantic old renovated freight train station. Commissioned by Accenture we provided 40+ meeting rooms, focus rooms, the welcome area, a showcase area and the cafetorium with state-of-the-art audiovisuals solutions. What an impressive place to work!

Leading in new ways

In the autumn of 2019 Accenture Belgium moved to its new offices at Gare Maritime (Tour & Taxis, Brussels). Their new way of working asks for a homelike feeling, in this case with lots of wood and even indoor gardens, and for durability in architecture as well as technology. Accenture wanted this flagship location to breathe its business vision in every possible way: ‘leading in new ways of consulting as we translate the needs and drive of our clients who seek to innovate and grow, and a place where our diverse and talented team can work hand in hand with clients to move as one and grow together’. Team and clients in this very agile office of the future are ready for the post-digital era…

…and so are we.

Accenture was looking for future proof audiovisual advice, versatile, ready for transformations. What if a focus room has to turn into a cognitive room operated via voice commands? What is the best way to broadcast events with keynote speakers in the showcase area and the cafetorium? How about streaming music from a smartphone? Or streaming the webcast of the CEO? And if Microsoft Teams ignates a communication revolution, Accenture wants to be ahead of the game, redefining what collaboration really means. Furthermore: wireless is key and HDMI and USB-C count as a minimum.

We hear you!

Inspired by The Dock, the Accenture offices in Ireland, and after an inspiration tour to Amsterdam (ISE) and the UK (Harman) together, Whitemilk and Accenture initiated a grand project. Starring a.o. an audio and video collaboration solution with Cisco Speaker Track and Shure Ceiling Array Microphone, the Microsoft Surface Hub 2S and a Samsung Flip, the Solstice wireless collaboration platform from Mersive, top-notch products from Harman Professional (with Samsung large format displays and AMX controlling/switching), Logitech and Bose. One of the eyecatchers is the superior image quality of the Barco laser beamer in the showcase area: 4K UHD resolution with a high level of detail and highly saturated colors, projected on the HD progressive Tensioned Elpro Concept projection screen (Projecta) for a full experience. We integrated digital signage, advised an extremely user friendly and scalable AV-over-IP solution and topped it all off with 50 curved Samsung monitors.

Ready for more

The invitation for the Housewarming Happy Hour included some heartwarming words of Nico Berghmans (IT Operations Associate Manager), praising our team for ‘the professionalism and flexible attitude’. Ready for more we are! Another phase will follow in May '20. We’re looking forward to equip some more rooms at Gare Maritime.
