Koksijde embarks on a new journey forward

Eleven years ago, Koksijde-Oostduinkerke became the first municipality in the region to decide to live-stream its municipal council meetings. Now, it was time to once again take the lead, this time by investing in Confero MEET (Televic), installed by Whitemilk under the auspices of Realdolmen. This system enables remote participation and voting for council members in a secure and easily coordinated manner, with the added benefit of including presentations in the streaming.

Further innovations followed after an initial update a few years ago. The previous conference system was replaced with Confidea Flex: all council members now receive a digital unit with a full-color touch screen. The four cameras were upgraded to the new generation PTZ cameras, T-CAM (Televic), which automatically track the speaker when they take the floor. Additionally, the council chamber serves as an excellent meeting space where you can easily connect your own devices to the cameras and microphones.
