ROSIER was founded in 1880 and produces mineral fertilizers. The parent company is based in Moustier (Belgium), subsidiary in Sas Van Gent (Netherlands). The company ROSIER is listed on Euronext Brussels and is part of the chemical division of TOTAL. This participation and a sound financial structure ensure the reputation and growth of the company. ROSIER’s products meet all the nutritional needs of all crop types in all climates. This also explains the presence of ROSIER in over 80 countries.

The company Rosier faced a challenge: find an alternative way of cooperation and communication to reduce excessive traveling for meetings between the establishments (Sas Van Gent and Moustier). This in a reliable, flexible and environmentally friendly way.

Whitemilk was approached to create a concept of implementing a videoconferencing room. The heart of the plant is a Lifesize Express 220 FULL HD videoconferencing system, this offers the possibility to make a sharp full HD video conference call. Two professional NEC LCD (P521 & P461) displays are used to display the images. The totality of sound and image is controlled by a Crestron touch panel (tpmC-4SM).

Jacques Alliot (technical director) explains: "The head office began to be more critical concerning the travel budgets and started looking for alternative methods of communication. There is frequent consultation within the management team and given the geographical spread of meetings, the participants are spending more time traveling to a meeting than actually meeting. Given the busy schedules of everyone, traveling is not a useful way of spending time, hence the investment in video communications. Our people experience it as a great benefit that they can share presentations and other documents via visual communication. Whitemilk provided a perfect accompaniment, an actual installation, implementation and training. "
