Renovation project of the headquarters of ACV Nutrition and Services in the Kartuizerstraat, Brussels.
Whitemilk provides the overall layout of all meeting rooms, the boardroom and the auditorium.
The large auditorium was equipped with Confidea discussion posts. The conference system includes dual construction posts, which enables two persons to use one post. The chairman has the option, if this option is on, to give or take the floor to one of the participants.
Each participant can follow the conversation via headphones and choose their preferred language through their personal control panel. All translator / interpreter booths were equipped with an interpreter unit.
3 Digital Full-HD Digital Vaddio PTZ cameras provide the automatic capture of the speaker(s) who have the floor. This can also be carried out manually using the graphical user interface control. These images can be displayed both internal on the projection and LCD screen and on the integrated Polycom HDX8000 videoconferencing unit.
The hall is operated via a high performance Creston controller with Ethernet card. A 16-port switch provides internal communication between the different AV components.
The complete system is operated with a large touch panel Crestron TPS 12GQM in the control room where all the desired adjustments, either automatic, semi automatic or manual, can be done.
For meetings with 'limited' needs, a wireless touchpanel Crestron TPS 6Xi is provided for the chairman, which is sufficient to perform the basic operations during an uncomplicated meeting.
The control room and booths feature preview monitors, so the operator can prepare images before they are displayed live on the screens and/or projector display.
In the control room, all appliances are installed in a 19" rack.
- A Crestron AV2 processor provides intelligent control over all the equipment, either via RS232 or TCP / IP.
- An Extron 12x12 RGBHV matrix switcher controls the images to all projectors and LCD screens.
- A Biamp DSP audio matrix controls all audio volumes to and from the auditorium. Any echoes or feedback, created inadvertently from the microphones or videoconferencing, will be filtered out by the AEC function (acoustic echo cancellation).
