Narrowcasting, also known as digital signage, is the new tool to communicate audiovisual messages to a specific audience in an attractive matter. Monitors installed at various locations can be controlled through the Internet or intranet from a central point.

       

INTERACTIVE NARROWCASTING

Customers can actively respond to the information they receive.

Interactive narrowcasting makes use of touch screens, which enables the public to open information with their fingertips. In this case the content is informative or commercial.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE

Displays with various destinations within a building or environment can show the visitor the right direction.

WEBCASTING and STREAMING VIDEO

Narrowcasting is also increasingly used to inform employees, dissemination of information through the company network. Any connected laptop can serve as a receiving station.

Streaming video is a technique in which moving images (whether live or not e.g. a meeting, lecture, operation...) appear on your computer screen via the internet.

This technique of digital signage with streaming video is now often used for e-learning. Teacher and pupil - colleagues, are no longer required to be on the same location at the same time.
